Can You Vague That Up For Me?

Bronwyn Green's Random Thoughts

Another Weirdass Dream

Okay, so I have no idea what this means, but I dreamt that I was suddenly, hugely pregnant.

We’re talking full on waddle, ready to give birth, can’t tie my own shoes pregnant.

I went from normal to ginormous in nothing flat, so of course, everyone was saying things like, “Oh my God! You’re pregnant!” or “What the hell?”

I swear, literally everyone I know paraded through my head to comment on my belly all the while I keep pointing at it, screaming, “It’s a metaphor!”

In fact, I woke up hollering that it was a metaphor. To which poor Matt mumbled, “Writer.” like it was a curse word, rolled over and went back to sleep.

I have no clue what this means.

  1. I have no idea what your dream means (except it's probably a metaphor). But Matt's reaction? Priceless.

  4. It's about your writing. The burn out is over abd you've been incubating these great ideas. Time to give birth to all the ideas in your head. They're ready to come out;) wine is good for these labor pains!

  5. LOL about Matt's reaction!

Also, maybe your brain is trying to tell you that you're over committed?! ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Maybe you're bothered by the amount of attention you're getting for something -other than the alien love child growing at an inhuman rate in your belly…that I'm sure looks like a sweet, sweet kitten and not at all like a claw with angry devil eyes.

I can relate. Crazy dreams seem to be my brain's specialty. But I'm not complaining because I've gotten to spontaneously make out with Joe Manganiello twice now. I'm crossing my fingers for a third dreamy encounter. ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. I'd like to go with what Cheryl said – even though what Chris said is likely closer to the truth.

And I'm TOTALLY jealous of Blakely! Why don't I get awesome Joe Manganiello make out dreams? Bitterness, thy name is Bron!!!!

What's it say about your subconscious recognizing its own metaphor while unconscious? Can we blame that on mama?

Anyway, it's still better than actually being preggo and having those acid-trip dreams you told me about, right?

Have fun with your night time parasite.

  11. I did some brief reading and research on dreams, and tracked them with their meanings for a short while. I had a ton of pregnant dreams right before getting married. I'm no expert, but from what I've read, it means you're approaching a transition or beginning something new in your life. I didn't have any pregnant dreams for about five months after getting married and then had another one recently, and I've wondered if it relates to starting my writing career. …and we're not wanting/planning on any kids in the near future, so I think my explanations fit better. Who knows!
